You do not need to reserve short summer skirts for the summer since there is something like… colorful tights! You can create layers in your outfit so as not to freeze during autumn and winter.

But hey, you can get really creative and make an original colorful look with many layers and textures. 

You can combine short summer skirts with blouses and blazers for a formal look. If it is really cold you can add a sweater and a pair of colorful tights. The options are limitless.

When it comes to colors, short summer skirts come in many shades and patterns and you can choose anything according to your preferences. If you are picking a shirt with patterns, make sure to think through what clothes you will be combining with it in the future.

Colors of Multicolored Skirts

Multicolored skirts are perfect for colorful fashionistas since they usually combine more than one shade. So if you want to create vivid outfits, colorful skirts will be perfect for it.

You can pick the shades of your multicolored skirts based on your beauty type. So for example, if your skin tone is cool, aim at shades of blue or purple. If it is warm, yellow and green colors will look much better.

Yet do not treat it as a limit. If you truly love a particular shade of multicolored skirt, wear it even if it is not according to your beauty type. Self-expression comes first!

When it comes to the worst color of a skirt it is… none. You can pick any color and as long as you like it, I’m sure it will look amazing.

The only recommendation I can make is to stick to the same shades. For example, if picking a vivid neon color skirt, make sure the rest of the outfit follows. Similarly, if your skirt has a darker shade, it is best if the rest of your look is in the same style as well.

Yet, if you want to shine and express yourself with colorful women’s clothing, stay away from shades that blend in. So grey, black, and very dark, toned colors are a no. You want to shine bright like a star! 🙂

What Colors Pair Well with Colorful Skirts?

You can combine any shade with your colorful skirt as long as it creates harmony. As I’ve written before, you can do it based on similarity or opposition.

So if your skirt is pink, you can include shades as purple or violet in your outfit. Look at the color chart and then pick the color that’s right next to your skirt’s color.

If following the rule of opposition, look at the colors on the opposite side of the chart. Contrasting is a powerful tool and it can make your multicolored skirts pop out even more.
